Rates for Individuals:
Regular: $75.00/session
Student: $65.00/session
Rates for Couples:
Regular: $110.00/session
Student: $80.00/session
Rates for Families:
Regular: $110.00/session
[Note: A Sliding fee scale available for persons affected by unemployment or hardship situations.]
Persons being reimbursed by insurance companies will not be eligible for the student rate or a sliding fee scale.
Fees are subject to change with two weeks prior notification. Richard is a registered counselor in the State of Washington. Many insurance companies will reimburse at least a portion of costs for mental health counseling with a registered counselor/therapist. Your particular health insurance company may or may not cover work with Richard, but if you are interested in being reimbursed by them, you will need to call them and ask the following questions:
+ Will they cover work with a Washington State Registered Counselor?
+ How many sessions and at what rate (i.e., what percentage) will they cover? (Please note that it is up to you to track the number of sessions for which they have reimbursed you).
+ What information do they require in order to reimburse you? Please be as detailed as possible.
+ How can I get on their Preferred Provider or In Network Provider list? If this will help you to be reimbursed at a higher rate and you would like for me to pursue this, please request that the application or information packet be sent to you, and I will be happy to fill it out if I am qualified.
Note: Please be aware that payment is due at each session (or you may pre-pay for a number of sessions if you would like), and it is up to you to turn in receipts to your insurance company if you would like to be reimbursed. I am not able to sumbit claims for you on your behalf. If you are in need of recipts, please let me know, and I will submit a receipt to you and the end of each month.
